A book of doodles, words and things (scraps of paper + other materials,
price tags, stickers and labels, compressed objects) I collected in the past year,
in a brand new and recycled planner that I never got the chance to use.
“Carry on, carry on...”
Featuring sights and sounds from home, from places that feel like home, from times that have gone by but I will remember always, from here and there and everywhere; more specifically— a compilation of food, fireworks, waterfalls, shaky time-lapse videos of clouds moving, hands holding things, HDB flats, skies, the moon, light and shadows, music, moments from a Bon Iver concert, a segment from and my favourite part of the theatrical trailer for Little Women, my view from
the backseat of the car, public transportation, birthday celebrations, cake-eating, pasta-making, egg-boiling, kite-flying, birds chirping, fish swimming, and last but not least, humans walking and talking and laughing and cheering and singing and just vibing, just being alive.
Shot and recorded entirely on iPhone over the course of the past year (2020). Edited over several days, on iMovie.
